Iran-Saudi Arabia Agreement In The Eyes Of Yemen.
Saudi Arabia, Iran and China announced in a joint statement on Friday the 19th of Esfand 1401 equal to the 10th of March 2023. As a result of the discussions, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia agreed to resume their diplomatic relations within two months at most and the embassies and reopen agencies.
This agreement infuriated the Zionists and the Americans, and this is clearly evident from the words of the former Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Naftali Bennett, who considered the Iran-Saudi agreement a dangerous development for Israel and a political victory for Iran, and the American circles were also against this agreement. They called it “a huge loss for US interests in the region, a geopolitical challenge for the US and a victory for China”.
According to Al-Mayadeen, on the other hand, the Arab countries considered this agreement a step in the right direction, which helps to create a positive atmosphere in the region, especially Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.
Politicians and diplomats in Sana’a believe that the revival of relations between Arab and Islamic countries, which basically helps to stop the interference of enemies in the region and prevent their efforts to create chaos in the region, is welcomed, this can be seen from the words of President Mohammad Abd Salam The negotiating team of Sana’a found that it tweeted: “The region needs the return of normal relations between its countries so that the Islamic Ummah can regain its security, which it has lost as a result of foreign interventions.”
He also considered the Zionist-American interventions in the region to be at the top of these interventions and emphasized that Tel Aviv and Washington intended to use the Iranophobia project to exploit this project to create regional differences and create war and aggression in Yemen.
The idea of some parties that the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia has a direct impact on the Yemen war case is wrong; Because Sana’a’s decision is solely her responsibility and she has no partner in decision-making. Recently, the Yemeni ambassador in Tehran, Ibrahim Al-Dilami, announced that Iran was asked about the Yemen case in meetings hosted by Baghdad, and the Iranians clearly stated: “Decision-making on Yemen issues is in Sana’a, not in Tehran” and Iran’s relationship with Ansarullah is only a brotherly and friendly relationship and they also suggested to Saudi Arabia to stop the war against Yemen.
