Countries Helping Syria After The Deadly Earthquake.
Following the recent devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria and the beginning of the process of foreign aid to these two countries, the double standards of Arab countries and American allies are once again exposed.
Three days have passed since an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale occurred in the center of Turkey. An earthquake that shook many parts of Western Asia and the Eastern Mediterranean and destroyed many parts of Syria in addition to Turkey. As of this writing, the death toll in Turkey has reached 18,794 and in Syria to 3,162.
The intensity of this earthquake was so great that it was recorded in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and parts of Ukraine and Europe including Greece, Bulgaria, etc.
After the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, many countries announced their readiness to help the earthquake victims. Unlike Turkey, where more than 65 countries have sent their humanitarian aid to this country, few countries have taken action to help the victims of the earthquake in Syria. Even the United Nations has not been able to take significant action to help the victims of the earthquake in Syria. In the meantime, the King Salman Relief and Rescue Center, the King of Saudi Arabia, who had claimed that he would help the victims of the Syrian and Turkish earthquakes and is ready to receive people’s aid for the earthquake victims, and has created an air bridge to transfer these aids to the two mentioned countries, still no help. It has not been sent to the Syrian people.
Today, after three days of the deadly earthquake in Syria and Turkey, this center brought the first Saudi aid shipment, including specialized medical teams and rescue teams to help earthquake victims in Turkey, to Adana airport in the south of this country and claimed that the collection plan People’s aid known as “Saham” also managed to collect 80 million Saudi Riyals and this amount is supposed to be spent to help the victims of the earthquake in Syria and Turkey.
