The results of two Israeli and Arab research studies show that the UAE’s attempts to influence public opinion and gain their approval in normalizing relations with Israel have been met with heavy failure.
A research study has highlighted that the UAE government’s efforts to promote the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime among the people of this country have failed miserably.
A study published by the Palestinian Center for Israeli Studies (orbit) notes that the means of normalizing relations with Israel to influence Arab communities and nations in the region have failed, a point that has been endorsed by some prominent Israeli observers.
The observers emphasize that Israel’s move to normalize its relations with Arab countries such as the UAE and Bahrain is not only strategic, but also met with widespread condemnation from Arab and Muslim nations in the region, leaving the Palestinian issue still at the forefront of the Islamic world.
They refer to the actions of some cyberspace users in the UAE and invite Arab activists to confirm the normalization of their government’s relations with Israel and their critical attacks on the Palestinians, who also question the status and importance of Palestine, including Al-Aqsa Mosque in Islam. “None of these measures could disrupt the public opinion of the Arab world and the Muslim nations,” Brad said.
The observers went on to take other measures in this regard, such as the silence of the UAE and Saudi governments in the face of criticism from their mercenary users of the Palestinians and the Palestinian cause, and Israel’s welcome for Emirati travel to the occupied territories and the reception of Israeli Jews by Emirati citizens. “All these measures are taken with the aim of creating the feeling in the public opinion that the Arab and Muslim nations of the region support and approve of the normalization of relations with Israel,” he said.
Despite all these efforts and attempts to distort public opinion, the prevailing facts of the Muslim and Arab nations in the region prove the opposite of these claims.
Israeli observers point to polls: Despite many obstacles and challenges to conducting direct polls in the UAE and Bahrain to understand the success rate of influencing Arab public opinion, Ministry of Strategic Affairs From mid-August to mid-September, Israel conducted a study on the content of social media posts in the Arab world about normalization agreements with Israel, the results of which were very disappointing for the regime.
“According to the Times of Israel, the results of this study showed that 81% of Arab social media users view the ‘normalization’ agreements as ‘negative’ and 8% as ‘very negative’, and only 5% look at it.” Have “positive”.

In other words, 89% of social media users in the Arab world have a negative view of normalizing relations with Israel. While 45% of the opinions published in the Arab world called the normalization agreement between Israel and the UAE a “betrayal”, 27% regretted the agreement, 10% accused the hypocrisy, and 5% said that Abu Dhabi has surrendered to the US government.
The study also found that supporters of the normalization of relations with Israel, who are in the minority, cited the possibility of signing security and economic agreements with Israel and taking advantage of them.
In this regard, the Doha Center for Political Research and Studies, with the aim of examining and evaluating the public opinion of the Arab world, published a report in which it reached similar results to the Israeli Ministry of Strategy research on accepting normalization of relations with Israel and recognition of this regime by their governments.
The Doha Center for Research and Political Studies found that 88 percent of those polled opposed the recognition of Israel by their government, and only 6 percent said they agreed.
At the end of the report, the Center-Based Report concludes that the results of these two studies show the failure of official efforts by the UAE and Israel to influence public opinion and gain popular approval on the issue of normalizing Arab-Israeli relations. Arab social media users are clearly noticeable.
For this reason, the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs called for cyber-campaigns to “change the Arab world’s public opinion of Israel.”
