Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the Muslim League-Jammu and Kashmir has issued an important statement regarding Kashmir issue stating that the solution to the Kashmir issue should be in accordance with the resolutions passed by the United Nations.
According to details, the Muslim League-Jammu and Kashmir in Occupied Kashmir has said that the resolutions passed by the United Nations provide an easy and best solution to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute under which the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the main party to the conflict, have been given this option. They have to decide their future through an independent referendum.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the acting chairman of the Muslim League, Abdul Ahad Pareh, while addressing the party leaders and workers in Srinagar, said that according to these resolutions, the Kashmiri people have been given the right to decide whether they want to stay with India or not. He said that it was the responsibility of the United Nations to take steps to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with its resolutions.
He said that the illegal and unconstitutional steps taken by India on August 5, 2019 show that India wants to destroy peace and has violated international law.
He said that every Kashmiri wants to withdraw the decision of August 5, 2019 and resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions.
