Srinagar: Indian terrorist army has now started targeting mosques and religious places in Occupied Kashmir and during a search operation in Shopian of Occupied Kashmir, the Occupying Indian Army desecrated a mosque which was severely reprimanded by the locals. It should be noted that India has been occupying occupied Kashmir illegally and aggressively for decades, but since the kind of action taken on August 5, 2019, voices against India have been heard all over the world. On the other hand, Pakistan has strongly condemned the desecration of a mosque by India in Shopian area of occupied Kashmir, the use of Indian weapons and grenades were thrown at the mosque.
According to a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry, they strongly condemned the desecration of a mosque in Shopian area of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan strongly condemns firing of heavy weapons and throwing grenades at the mosque. The incident on April 9 was carried out under the guise of so-called search and raid operation. And there is clear evidence.
He said that the inhumane behavior of the occupying Indian forces was a reflection of their moral bankruptcy, adding that targeting the religious and cultural identities of the people of the occupied territories was a clear violation of international law and basic human rights. India has not been able to weaken the resolve of Kashmiris by indiscriminate use and targeting of religious places.
The Foreign Office spokesman said that the government and people of Pakistan would continue to support the Kashmiris’ right to a fair referendum in accordance with Security Council resolutions.
