The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has announced a complete blackout tonight in view of state terrorism by India in occupied Kashmir.
According to details, a complete blackout will be held in occupied Kashmir tonight from 8 pm to 9 pm as a protest against India’s aggressive occupation, state terrorism and nefarious tactics to suppress the independence movement.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the blackout was called by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, while other Hurriyat leaders and organizations, including Jammu and Kashmir National Front, Jammu and Kashmir Political Race Tennis Movement and Jammu and Kashmir People’s League, civil society workers and trade unions. Representatives have supported it.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the blackout would be a sign of Kashmiris’ resistance to Indian tactics of erasing the identity of Kashmiris through illegal measures taken by the Modi government on August 5, 2019.
Meanwhile, a report released by the Kashmir Media Service on the occasion of the completion of 100 days of ceasefire on the Line of Control between Pakistan and India said that Indian troops continued their state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. 44 Kashmiri people were martyred in the operations.
Indian troops destroyed at least 20 houses, arrested 326 Kashmiri youths and injured 143 during 720 violent siege and search operations.
Citing political observers, the report said that despite the ceasefire in the occupied territories, the violence of Indian troops and the anti-Kashmir policies of the BJP government have not abated and Kashmiri youth are being martyred day by day.
