Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar while talking on the topic of Inter-Muslim Unity said that unity of the Ummah is an important need of the hour.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar expressed these views while addressing a meeting of Ittehad-e-Muslimeen Committee. During the meeting, Usman Bazdar strongly condemned the attack on the temple at Rahim Yar Khan. He said that great scholars and leaders have guided the nation at every opportunity and therefore the role of scholars in promoting solidarity and religious tolerance is commendable.
Usman Bazdar said that the role of Ulema in promoting religious harmony could not be forgotten and at the same time he fulfilled his responsibilities regarding Karuna SOPs in an efficient manner. He said that the government rendered services to Ulema. Appreciates, forgetting differences can come together on one platform to pay off the debt of the beloved homeland.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that all should respect each other’s religious sentiments and all should play a positive role in ensuring a peaceful atmosphere as only by creating an atmosphere of tolerance can the nefarious intentions of the enemy be thwarted. Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, Zubair Ahmad Zaheer, Ragheb Naeemi, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad and Pir Syed Saeed Al Hassan Shah were also present.
