According to details, PM Imran Khan telephoned Punjab Special Assistant for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan. The Prime Minister congratulated Firdous Ashiq Awan for playing an important role in defeating PML-N.
Prime Minister Imran Khan appreciated the tireless work of Firdous Ashiq Awan. PM Imran Khan said that Firdous Ashiq Awan fought the election with determination and dusted off the big idol of mafia, this is a great achievement for PTI, PM Imran Khan said that PTI is completely wiping out PML-N from Punjab. ۔
Special Assistant Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Usman Bazdar trusted me, assigned me the important task of MLA 36 and PP 38 for which I am grateful, PTI will continue this success.
It may be recalled that PTI candidate Ahsan Saleem Baryar has won the by-election in Punjab Assembly constituency PP-38 Sialkot. Polling in the constituency started at 8 am and continued till 5 pm without any break. Due to rain before voting, staff in some places faced difficulties which also affected the polling process. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Ahsan Saleem Baryar has won the by-election.
According to unofficial results of all 165 polling stations of PP-38, Ahsan Saleem Baryar of PTI won with 60588 votes while Tariq Sobhani of PML-N got 53471 votes.
