Lahore:
Sajid Sadpara, son of national hero Ali Sadpara, says that it is very difficult to bring down the bodies of climbers. The bodies of these climbers are at an altitude of 8400 meters. We will try to bury them back and forth on the same route.
In his video message released from K2, Sajid Sadpara said, “I came to K2 on a search mission. We have found the bodies of father Ali Sadpara and his associates, but the bodies of father and John Sunori are in a very technical place. It is very difficult for me and my colleagues, the well-known Canadian filmmakers Elijah Seckley and Nepali Sherpa, to get them out of this place.
Sajid Sadpara said that the bodies of the three climbers are at an altitude of 8400 meters and we will try to bury them back and forth on the same route. It is to be remembered that Sajid Sadpara brought the body of Ali Sadpara to Argentina yesterday with a khaki bottle. He was confirmed to have been brought to Camp Four and buried with the help of a mountaineer.
Sajid Sadpara wrote in his tweet that “I have brought Ali Sadpara back to Camp 4 with the help of an Argentine mountaineer after exhuming the body of Ali Sadpara alone from a dangerous slope 300 meters below Bottleneck on K2. On behalf of the entire nation, Surah Al-Fatiha and the Holy Quran have been recited and the place where the body was found has been secured by hoisting the national flag so that this place can be formally identified in the future.
It may be recalled that the body of Pakistani mountaineer Ali Sadpara, who went missing on K2 in February, was found 300 meters below the bottleneck of K2 two days ago, while the body of one of his two companions was found 400 meters below the bottleneck. Meters down and this place is located in the death zone at an altitude of 8200-8400 meters.
