News sources announced on Sunday evening, Tehran time, the appointment of the Israeli ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Times of Israel website, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid announced that he intends to appoint Amir Hayek as the regime’s permanent ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
Hayek is currently the president of the Hoteliers Association in the Occupied Territories. He was previously the Director General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor of the Zionist regime.
“Amir Hayek, highly experienced and knowledgeable in the economic and tourism fields, is a good person to institutionalize the bridge between Israel and the UAE,” Lapid said. “After the opening of the embassies, it is time to appoint the first ambassador to the UAE.”
Hayek is a political appointee by Lapid and shows that relations between the UAE and the (Israeli) regime are high-level priorities for the State Department.
Last September, the UAE and the Zionist regime, through the mediation of former US President Donald Trump, signed an agreement called Ibrahim and formally normalized their diplomatic relations. After the signing of the agreement, the relations between the two sides witnessed a significant improvement in a short period of time, to the point that Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv signed a cooperation agreement with several delegations in various fields.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett spoke by telephone with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed last Friday. This is the first telephone conversation between Benzaid and Bennett since the beginning of Bennett’s presidency. In the phone call made by Bennett, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, as well as some regional and international issues. Congratulating Bennett on his appointment as prime minister, bin Zayed stressed the need for bilateral cooperation to achieve peace and stability in the region.
In this telephone conversation, Bin Zayed and the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime talked about regional and international developments and issues, especially in the field of achieving peace and prosperity for all the people of the region.
Following the normalization of relations between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi, the Zionist company Katsa (Europe-Asia Oil Company) signed an agreement with the UAE that allowed Abu Dhabi to export oil to the world through occupied Palestine.
New Tel Aviv Minister of Energy Karin Al-Harar has publicly stated that the agreement “does not serve the interests of Israel and does not benefit the people and the Israeli economy, and if the agreement is canceled, we will not see any harm in this.”
