Al-Baydha: The new scene of the dispute between Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Yemeni forces thwarted Saudi mercenaries ‘attempts to seize control of the central province of Al-Bayda, and the Saudi-American aggressors’ desire to seize control of this strategic province was dashed, after Saudi and UAE mercenaries played a role.
The Saudi mercenaries accused the mercenaries of the UAE-affiliated Transitional Council of obstructing the arrival of ammunition and supplies for the Hadi forces in al-Bayda, thus betraying the region.
Al-Bayda has become the scene of a dispute between Saudi Arabia and the UAE and their mercenaries these days.
In the past, the difference between the two was only over Aden, but after a while, this enmity spread to Abyan, Lahj and Al-Bayda.
The UAE has repeatedly bombed Hadi forces in Yemen, most recently with a drone strike on a Saudi mercenary base in Abyan in July, killing and wounding dozens of mercenaries.
The Transitional Council, chaired by Eidrus al-Zubaidi, also threatened retaliation after Hadi forces attacked the city of Loader and sent its mercenaries to Abyan to attack Hadi forces.
But the Saudi-Emirati dispute is not limited to Yemen, and has escalated into a dispute in OPEC and even joint oil fields, halting travel between the two countries, which is why experts are asking where the next area of dispute will be.
