The death toll from the building collapse in Florida rose to 86.
The mayor of the Miami-Florida area has reported an increase in casualties from the collapse of a 12-story building to more than 86 people.
“The death toll from the collapse of a 12-story tower last month has risen to more than 86,” said Miami-Didy Mayor Danila Levin Kawa.
No survivors have been found under the rubble of the building since the rescue operation began on June 24, according to the report.
The main cause of the collapse of this building has not been determined yet.
Florida official Jimmy Patronis described the incident as the third largest building collapse in U.S. history since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
