On the occasion of the martyrdom of several Kashmiri Mujahideen including Burhan Wani by the Indian government and the martyrdom of 22 Kashmiris by the Dogra Maharaja’s army on July 13, 1931, the Kashmiri people have declared Martyrs’ Week from July 6 to 13.
According to details, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Occupied Kashmir has appealed to the people of the Occupied Territories and Liberal Kashmiris living in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan and other parts of the world to observe Martyrs’ Saturday on July 6-13 this month.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has released a calendar regarding various programs to be held on Saturday in connection with the martyrs. According to the calendar, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of renowned youth leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani and his associates. July 8 will be celebrated as Resistance Day, while July 13 will be observed as Martyrs’ Day.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has also called for a complete strike and a people’s march in occupied Jammu and Kashmir these days.
Special prayer ceremonies will be held in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan and other countries on July 6 to pay homage to the Kashmiri martyrs who laid down their precious lives for independence under the calendar. Prayers will be offered for the success of the Azad Kashmir movement.
Protest rallies and demonstrations will be held on July 7 to draw the attention of the international community to the ongoing genocide, oppression and serious human rights violations by the occupying Indian forces in the occupied territories.
Banners and placards depicting atrocities by Indian forces in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, custodial killings, destruction of homes and other property, bullets on innocent Kashmiris, tear gas shells and pellet pellets will be hung On July 8, there will be a complete strike in occupied Kashmir and a civil curfew will be imposed.
A march will be held on July 8 from Burhanwani’s hometown of Tral to pay homage to the hero of the resistance movement Burhan Wani and other martyrs.
Seminars and public gatherings will be held on this day in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan and other countries of the world to pay homage to the Kashmiri martyrs.
A complete strike will be declared in occupied Jammu and Kashmir on July 13 and a civil curfew will be imposed and people will march towards the shrine of Martyrs Naqshband Sahib Srinagar on July 13, 1931 to pay homage to the martyrs.
A statement from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference said that 22 Kashmiri people were martyred on July 13, 1931 in the premises of Central Jail Srinagar when people protested against the desecration of Holy Quran by the then Dogra government of Jammu and Kashmir. had been.
