According to ISPR, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Punjab Regimental Center. The Army Chief laid flowers at the memorial at the Punjab Regimental Center. On the occasion, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa spoke to the officers and men and praised the regiment at the highest level in the professional fields.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan Army would bring innovation in every field to deal with threats and challenges.
A badge-laying ceremony of Colonel Commandant was held at the Regimental Center. The ceremony was attended by the present service, retired officers and soldiers. Retired Colonel Commandant Lt. Gen. Shahid Baig Mirza, a large number of officers and soldiers also attended the ceremony.
