Haniyeh and the Hamas delegation meet with the leaders of Hezbollah Lebanon.
A high-level delegation of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) led by Ismail Haniyeh met today (Tuesday) with the leaders of Hezbollah Lebanon led by Azzam al-Ayoubi.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh met with Hezbollah Lebanon head Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut on Tuesday and discussed last month’s war between Israel and the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.
The two terror group leaders discussed how to learn from the latest war with Israel, according to a statement by Hezbollah Media Relations reported on the terror group’s Al-Manar media website.
According to the Palestine Information Center, Al-Ayoubi, while welcoming the Hamas delegation to Lebanon, stressed the Jamaat-e-Islami’s firm position in support of the Palestinian cause and opposition to the permanent settlement of Palestinian refugees in the country.
Ismail Haniyeh, while appreciating the support of the Lebanese Islamic Jamaat to the Palestinian people, spoke about the achievements of the resistance in the battle of the Quds Sword and stressed the need to continue efforts to achieve the goals of the Palestinian people.
The head of Hamas’ political bureau also outlined the movement’s strategy for the future and its priorities in relation to political developments.
Haniyeh stressed that the recent victory in the battle of the Sword of Quds belongs to the entire Islamic Ummah and the consequences of this victory will affect the entire region.
The head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) also met today with Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary-general of Hezbollah in Lebanon.
During the meeting, Nasrallah and Haniyeh reviewed the recent Palestinian battle called the “Sword of Quds” with the Zionist regime’s forces and its achievements for the resistance.
Hezbollah’s secretary-general and head of Hamas’ political bureau went on to describe the links between the Islamic Resistance as strategic and crucial.
