A member of the Public Prosecutor’s Office was also arrested for taking the equivalent of 30,000 rials in exchange for keeping the case in his possession. He delayed the decision on the case for 7 months to pressure one of the parties to take a bribe.
The source also said that the director of the social security unit of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in a Saudi province was arrested for registering a number of acquaintances as insurance beneficiaries with fake medical reports and paying subsidies.
