A member of Yemen’s Ansarullah political bureau said the movement would be part of the equation for defending Jerusalem.
Abdul Wahab al-Mahbashi, a member of the political bureau of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, stressed that the movement would defend occupied Jerusalem.
Al-Mahbashi told Al-Mayadin News Network that Ansarullah would be part of the equation for defending Quds.
Ansar al-Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi recently said that Yemen is an integral part of the equation that Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah proposed for Quds.
Nasrallah, the secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement, had said that the threat to Jerusalem meant a regional war within the framework of the holy defense.
Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, also stressed last May that the Arab and Yemeni nations would work to help the Palestinian cause.
On Yemen’s internal affairs, al-Mahbashi also said that the Zionist regime was hiding behind the United Arab Emirates on the Red Sea island of Muon.
Following the announcement of the new equation by Hezbollah’s secretary general, resistance groups, including the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement and the books of Hezbollah in Iraq, declared their commitment to the equation.
“We emphasize what Sayyid [Hassan] Nasrallah said about the fact that the region and the resistance are in a unified position,” said Ziad al-Nakhala, secretary general of the Islamic Jihad movement. “We all in the resistance believe that Al-Quds is the scales of the behavior of all the countries of the world towards the Palestinian cause.”
