Downloader, an online platform that monitors the activities of websites and Internet applications, announced on Thursday (today) the emergence of problems for major airlines in the United States as well as major calls in Australia.
According to Sputnik, major US airlines such as American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Air Lines reported that their websites were down.
The American and Australian media and officials of the two countries have not yet explained what caused the problem for the websites of the major airlines and banks.
Access to the websites of airlines and banks has come out at a time when the issue of cyberattacks has been one of the tensest issues in the relations between countries in recent years.
The United States, Russia, and 23 other countries have renewed their cyber-attack agreement in recent weeks. Under the agreement, the parties should not attack each other’s critical infrastructure in peacetime, nor should they refrain from harboring cybercriminals and hackers.
The United States has pointed the finger at Russia in recent months, following heavy cyber-attacks, but Moscow has repeatedly denied the allegations.
