The investigation into the commotion that took place during the National Assembly session yesterday has been completed. According to details, a committee headed by National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has completed an inquiry into the National Assembly commotion.
According to sources, the rioters included Ali Nawaz Awan, Fahim Khan and Ataullah Khan from the government.
Opposition members Ali Gohar, Mohsin Shah Nawaz Anjha and Sheikh Rohail Asghar were also among the rioters. Syed Agha Rafiullah of Pakistan Peoples Party has also been banned. Meanwhile, orders have been issued by the National Assembly Secretariat to the concerned members and Assembly Security.
In this regard, the Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that members who use vulgar language will not be allowed to enter the House.
He said that full footage of the proceedings of the meeting has been requested and reviewed. The videos were reviewed in the presence of the Deputy Speaker and Secretary National Assembly. The members whose names have been mentioned will not be allowed to sit in any sitting of the National Assembly till further notice. The names of the rioters have also been provided to the security and they will not be allowed to enter the house.
It may be recalled that the members of the National Assembly had violated the sanctity of the House and turned it into a battlefield. During the meeting, books were attacked on each other in a fight between the government and PML-N members, while security personnel also failed to stop the members. The National Assembly Secretariat sought help from the Senate Secretariat. After which the services of Additional Sergeant at Arms were entrusted to the National Assembly to deal with the tense situation in the House.
