Addressing the budget webinar, Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen said that they would consider restoring the system of price control magistrates while no more taxes would be levied on taxpayers. The burglars will be tracked down with the help of technology and they will be imprisoned.
Shaukat Tareen said that tax evaders would be put in jails, tax evaders would be traced with modern technology and electricity bills.
The Finance Minister said that steps would be taken for agriculture in the next budget and no increase in electricity prices would be made in future.
He said that the compensation of middlemen would be reduced, efforts were being made to reduce revolving credit, increase in foreign exchange reserves was a reflection of economic recovery, development in agriculture sector was taking place due to farmer friendly policies. ۔
The Finance Minister said that when the government took over, the economy was facing severe difficulties. The Prime Minister made major decisions for the economy, priority measures were taken to increase the value of the rupee, and difficulties arose in the recovery of the economy due to Corona.
He said that despite the Corona, the revival of the construction sector was made possible, economists were also consulted for economic improvement, and with the improvement in the economy, the revenue also increased.
He said that more than 40 industries related to the construction sector have been revived, the government has increased the revenue, a record revenue of more than Rs 4,000 billion has been collected this year, more than 40 industries related to the construction sector have been activated.
Shaukat Tareen said that achieving the goals of sustainable development is our priority, it is necessary to increase exports to improve the economy.
