Pakistan carried out five bomb blasts in the Chaghi Mountains on May 28, 1998. It was a Thursday and at 3:40 pm, Pakistan detonated five nuclear warheads in a row, shattering the pride of neighboring and hostile India. At the same time, Pakistan became the seventh country in the world to have a nuclear power and the first in the Islamic world. The force of the Chaghi blasts was 50 kilotons compared to India’s 43 kilotons.

Thus the real threat of Pakistan-India war was created. LK Advani, the Indian Home Minister and in-charge of Kashmir affairs, ordered the Indian Army to enter Azad Kashmir to destroy the Mujahideen’s camps . All this was a preparation for aggressive action against Pakistan. It is true that India exercised its right as a free and independent country by detonating a nuclear bomb, but it is also a fact that India’s nuclear detonation The clear aim was only to intimidate Pakistan and to prove its superiority over the countries of the entire region, including Pakistan, by proving to be a powerful country. The tone of its rulers and politicians about Pakistan had changed. In this regard, the world-renowned news agency AFP released a report from Delhi in which Indian defense experts termed the bombings by the Vajpayee government as a cowardly act and said that it proved. It happens that India can withstand global pressure.
