Qassam spokesman: We had prepared a missile attack throughout occupied Palestine.
A spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades said in response to the Israeli government’s announcement of a unilateral ceasefire that it had planned an operation that would cover all of occupied Palestine, from Haifa to Ramon.
“The Palestinian resistance succeeded in defeating the Zionist regime,” said Abu Ubaydah, a spokesman for the al-Qassam Brigades.
Al-Mayadin News Network reported, quoting Abu Ubaydah, that the Palestinian resistance fought the sword of Quds to defend Quds and with the intention of the Muslim Ummah.
He stressed that the Palestinian resistance managed to humiliate the Zionist regime and its weak army.
The al-Qassam Brigades had planned an attack that would spread throughout occupied Palestine from Haifa to Ramon, the resistance commander said.
Abu Ubaydah, meanwhile, said he had agreed to the ceasefire solely to monitor the Zionist regime’s behavior.
He also stressed that “we have suspended this large missile attack that we had prepared for the enemy.”
Al-Qassam’s spokesman noted: “With God’s help, we were able to humiliate the enemy and its army, whose leaders were proud of killing children and destroying residential towers.”
Abu Ubaydah concluded by stating that the Zionist regime does not learn from its dark history: “If the Zionists dare to [violate] our sanctities, the Palestinian resistance has more [things] to confront them.”
In this regard, Osama Hamdan, one of the leaders of the Hamas movement, said last night that Egypt and Qatar have held talks on a ceasefire and that progress has been made in these talks. He said the talks could lead to an agreement or agreement on a ceasefire within the next 24 hours.
Hours after Hamdan’s remarks, the Zionist regime’s Internal Security Council announced its agreement to declare a ceasefire in Gaza, saying it had informed Egypt.
Clashes between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist regime began on Monday, May 10, after the end of the resistance to Tel Aviv over the need to end the regime’s aggression in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. During this time, the Israeli army has repeatedly targeted residential areas in Gaza with indiscriminate bombardment.
Resistance groups have targeted rocket-propelled grenades. The Zionist regime’s Iron Dome system has failed to repel many of these rockets.
