The Presidents of Pakistan and China congratulated each other on the completion of 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Presidents appreciated the everlasting friendship between the two countries and discussed ways to further strengthen it.
Talking to Chinese President Xi Jinping, President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi said that Pak-China eternal friendship is the guarantor of peace and stability in the region. The President also said that we have been friends in both good and bad times. Under the leadership of the President, Pak-China friendship was further strengthened. On the occasion, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that the 70-year-old friendship between the two countries is strong towards the rock.
He further said that the Pak-China Economic Corridor has benefited the people of both the countries. Chinese President Xi Jinping also said that he was willing to work together for the promotion of strategic ties and practical cooperation.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan also had a telephone conversation with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang to discuss the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Pak-China diplomatic relations, bilateral relations and cooperation in the supply of corona vaccine.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen Pak-China bilateral relations. The Prime Minister congratulated his Chinese counterpart and leadership on the successful landing of a Chinese spacecraft on Mars, which highlighted China’s growing technical capability.
