According to local media reports, Malik Ghazanfar Abbas Chahina, head of Hum Khayal group in Punjab, called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Bazdar. MNA Dr Muhammad Afzal Khan Dhandla and MPA Amir Inayat Khan Shahani were also present in the meeting.
Malik Ghazanfar Abbas Chahina, head of this like-minded group of Punjab, during a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar, expressed full confidence in the leadership of the Punjab Chief Minister and said that the Punjab Chief Minister would support Sardar Usman Bazdar in every difficult time. He assured that the Chief Minister of Punjab would be supported at every forum.
At present, efforts are being made to maintain the numerical superiority in the Punjab Assembly. In this regard, efforts are also being made to celebrate the Jahangir Tareen group and the task of celebrating the Jahangir Tareen group has been entrusted to the Chief Minister’s House. The Chief Minister’s Office contacted the ministers of Jahangir Tareen Group. Chief Minister Tahir Khurshid also contacted the Provincial Minister Noman Langarial.
According to media sources, the Chief Minister’s Office conveyed the important message of the Prime Minister to the Jahangir Tareen group and assured them to remove all reservations. The provincial minister also asked the group members to respond after consultation. The Chief Minister’s Office also requested the members of Jahangir Tareen Group not to sit on separate benches.
It may be recalled that the like-minded politicians of Jahangir Khan, a senior politician belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, announced the formal formation of the Jahangir Tareen group.
The Jahangir Tareen group has also immediately appointed parliamentary leaders in the National and Provincial Assemblies. According to Punjab Assembly member Nazir Chauhan, Raja Riaz will be the parliamentary leader in the National Assembly while Saeed Akbar Nawani will be the parliamentary leader in the Punjab Assembly. In addition, the Jahangir Tareen Group has set up a three-member negotiating committee, which includes Raja Riaz, Noman Langarial and himself.
The formation of the official group of Jahangir Tareen was announced at a dinner hosted by Jahangir Tareen. In the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Jahangir Tareen’s like-minded group also entered Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after Punjab, Raja Riaz said. ۔
