Israel Is Committing Genocide Against Palestinians: Foreign Minister

Addressing a virtual meeting of OIC foreign ministers, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Israel is committing the worst human rights violations and genocide of Palestinians, Israeli forces are targeting unarmed Palestinians, Gaza is being bombed continuously. Yes, and innocent children are being martyred by the bombing, Israel’s aggression must end.
Saudi Arabia has convened a meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to discuss the current situation in Palestine. The use of force was discussed. The Saudi Foreign Minister expressed concern over the ongoing tensions in Palestine and condemned the ongoing Israeli bombing.
The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan stands with the Palestinians and strongly condemns the Israeli attacks on unarmed Palestinian Muslims. Pakistan reiterates its commitment to the two-state formula for resolving the issue. I thank the OIC for convening the emergency meeting, we all fully support and express solidarity with the Palestinians, the OIC should take immediate steps to stop the Israeli aggression, take all possible steps to stop the Israeli aggression on the Palestinians and the international community. It should also speak out against Israel’s illegal use of force against the Palestinians.
