Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Omar said in a tweet on the social networking site Twitter that the first batch of the Cane Sino vaccine, developed at the National Institute of Health (NIH), would be available by the end of May Has once again appealed to the people to celebrate Eid with simplicity.
Asad Omar, head of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), said: The month was set up for this purpose and a specially trained team is currently working on the project.
He said that after a rigorous quality control check, the Cane Sino vaccine developed at the National Institute of Health Plant would be available for use by the end of this month.
In another tweet, the Federal Minister said that due to timely decisions, the situation in the country has not been as it is in the neighboring country. However, he said that the nation needs to spend this important time carefully.
Health officials have warned that the next few days are crucial and that the public needs to follow standardized procedures (SOPs) to stop the spread of the virus.
Earlier, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health Dr Faisal Sultan had warned the people that a very dangerous time was ahead as Eid-ul-Fitr approached.
He acknowledged that there had been some improvement in the spread of the virus, but said that people should be careful and take the disease seriously.
Addressing the webinar, Dr Faisal Sultan called on microbiologists and scientists to warn the public about the dangers of corona virus and encourage them to implement SOPs.
