The war will not stop without lifting the siege and guaranteeing the interests of Yemen.
Stopping the war in Yemen has become a major concern for members of the Saudi coalition especially for the major sponsor the “US” as well as the United Nations. Because they all failed to come up with a solution to distract the public, which they were trying to do by sending two special envoys for Yemen to the United Nations and the United States to Oman. This is what Abdul Malik al-Ajri, a member of the Yemeni negotiating team, revealed on Tuesday.
Al-Ajri wrote in his shocking tweet: “It has been rumored in the media that the two special envoys of the United States and the United Nations have returned empty-handed from Muscat. It is more correct to say that they came to them empty-handed.”
Hours earlier, Ansar al-Islam’s spokesman and the head of Yemen’s negotiating team, Mohammed Abdul Salam, tweeted criticizing the UN proposal to stop the attack on Ma’rib: They live – they put aside and talk about a minor battle, which is to summarize the conflict, which not only does not solve any problem, but intensifies it, and not only to achieve useful peace. “It does not, but it prolongs the war.”
What is happening in Marib is not different from what is happening in the whole of Yemen. UN Special Representative Martin Griffiths and other actors, such as the American Timothy Linder King, are well aware that the issue of Ma’rib must be addressed in the context of developments in Yemen as a whole, and not in isolation.
The most important principle of the Yemeni declaration is that the UN Security Council will not be able to carry out any activity without guaranteeing the interests of Yemen. Efforts by the Security Council to issue a new order to end the war in Yemen will never succeed without the implementation of these principles.
Yemeni officials stressed that the goals of the Security Council will be achieved if it serves the interests of the country first, because the Yemeni people do not need the support of parties that do not care about their security, peace, and sovereignty, so any ceasefire must be accompanied by Lifting the siege of Yemen to send humanitarian aid and dialogue between the Yemeni parties.
It is clear that the United States, the United Nations, Saudi Arabia, and its coalition are very surprised by the victories of the Yemeni resistance, especially its weapons development in the field of missiles and drones.
These countries never cared about the rights of the Yemeni people and therefore insisted on the continuation of the war, and even today, if they talk about a ceasefire, their only goal is to waste time destroying the Yemeni infrastructure as much as possible, which has left the Yemeni people in the worst condition and human tragedy.
Abdul Salam was very clear in his remarks, saying that the Saudi coalition had violated the ceasefire 139 times in the past 24 hours in al-Hudaidah, the most important of which were three spy flights over al-Fazah and al-Durihami, 21 spy flights over al-Haysa, al-Jah. Finally, there were 14 artillery shells with 89 artillery shells and 100 artillery shells.
Such actions are a sign the enemy does not intend to stop the war in Yemen, but rather to waste more time in a war in which he has used all kinds of weapons of mass destruction and the international prohibition against the Yemeni people.
