Palestinian Commission in Jordanian Parliament emphasizes expulsion of the Israeli ambassador from Amman
The Palestinian Commission in the Jordanian parliament stressed that the ambassador of the Zionist regime should be expelled from the country.
, The Palestinian Commission in the Jordanian Parliament condemned the Zionist aggression against the residents of the “Sheikh Jarrah” neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.
The head of the commission, Mohammed al-Zahrawi, stressed that he was following with concern all the events that were taking place in the lands of Jerusalem.
Sputnik news agency quoted Al-Zahrawi as saying that the racist acts of the Zionists against Christians and their religious rites and preventing them from entering the places of worship in the occupied city of Jerusalem were condemned.
He added that the commission would continue to put pressure on all official parties and international institutions to stop the forced relocation of residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood by the Zionists.
The head of the Palestinian Commission said that his position on the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador and the summoning of the Jordanian ambassador from Tel Aviv was firm.
Al-Zahrawi concluded by emphasizing that members of the Jordanian parliament represent the Palestinian Commission; Because the issue of Palestine has a high place in the hearts of all Jordanians.
A Zionist court recently ordered several Palestinian families in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood to vacate their homes confiscated in favor of Zionist settlers by Sunday, May 4, and the deadline for a number of other Palestinian families is until the beginning of August.
The Palestinians own the land in Jerusalem and their homes were built by the Jordanian government under an agreement reached in 1965 between the Jordanian government and UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East).
But the Zionists claim that the land on which the Palestinian houses were built used to belong to Jewish families. The Zionist regime has now been able to disprove this false claim by colluding in the courts of Jerusalem, and hundreds of Palestinians are facing forced displacement.
