American soldiers are trying to close the border areas of Iraq and Syria.
According to al-Maluma, a security source in Anbar province announced that according to the information released by security sources at the Ain al-Assad Air Base located in the Al-Baghdadi area in the west of this province, the American military is seeking to close the border strip with Syria.
He further added: This action is taking place in the shadow of the intensification of the conflicts between the forces of the Al-Akeidat tribe and the SDF militias supported by Washington in the 60 km border strip shared with Syria.
This security source stated: The commanders overseeing the security case of the border areas with Syria have ordered their forces to be fully prepared and alert to prevent the infiltration of ISIS terrorist elements into the territory of Iraq.
He stated: The American military has increased its air espionage operations in the western regions towards the Syrian territory.
Earlier, a security source had informed about the movement of the US military convoy from the Al-Tanf base in Syria to the areas near the border with Syria.
Some villages in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ezzor, Syria, have witnessed armed conflicts for some time. The clashes started after the SDF militias arrested Ahmed al-Khabil, the head of the military council of Deir ez-Zor. This action caused the armed people related to him to take military action and Arab armed tribes to join them and it led to a massive military conflict during which several villages in the region were out of the control of the SDF forces.
Washington is worried that the conflicts will spread in the area under its influence in eastern Syria, where the Syrian oil and gas wells are concentrated.
