According to al-Arabiya, the Taliban group arrested 18 employees of a Swiss aid organization.
The non-governmental organization “International Aid” of Switzerland announced on Saturday 25 September in an announcement that the Taliban group has arrested 18 employees of this organization, including a foreign citizen.
This organization noted that the said employees were kidnapped from their office in Ghor Province and taken to Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.
The statement of this organization states: So far, we have not received reliable information about the accusations of our employees and we cannot provide an explanation about their conditions.
The Taliban authorities have not yet officially commented on the reason for the arrest of these people.
International Assistance Organization (IAM) has been operating in Afghanistan since 1966. This organization initially provided services in the field of ophthalmology, but over time, its activity expanded to other treatment and education sectors as well.
This organization has emphasized on its website that it assists people independently of political and religious approaches. The mentioned organization stated in its announcement: We respect the local culture and traditions of the people and keep them.

The Taliban are trying to implement laws according to the extremist view of Sharia, and based on this, they have prevented women from working in non-governmental organizations and international organizations. In addition, the Taliban government announced the closure of secondary schools for girls and the presence of women in parks and sports halls without a male relative.
