Therefore, the death toll from this terrible earthquake, which was unprecedented in the last century, reached 1,037 and the number of injured reached 1,204.
News sources have declared the strength of this earthquake to be 7 on the Richter scale, which was unprecedented in Morocco in the last hundred years.
The World Health Organization also issued a statement and announced that more than 300,000 Moroccans were injured in the 7-magnitude earthquake that shook different parts of Morocco.
Last evening, the Geological Organization of Morocco announced the occurrence of a 7-magnitude earthquake at a depth of 8 kilometers in different parts of the country. Therefore, this earthquake, which occurred at 11:00 on Friday evening, has seriously damaged most of the regions of this country. The greatest amount of damage in this strong earthquake has been inflicted on the old areas of Morocco and long-lived buildings that have traditional structures.
