Zakharova: The summit of the US, South Korea, and Japan is confrontational in nature.
According to Sputnik, “Maria Zakharova”, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced in a speech today that the agreements reached at the summits of the US, South Korea, and Japan have a confrontational nature and the spirit of the “Cold War”.
In this regard, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry said: Seoul’s support to Kiev in any form, including military aid and new sanctions against Russia, will not go unanswered.
“Maria Zakharova” further added: that the military-political interaction between the United States, Japan, and South Korea contains the key instructions of the United States to contain Russia and China.
The leaders of the US, Japan, and South Korea at the tripartite meeting at Camp David in the permanent resort of the US president in Maryland last Friday, released a joint statement and pledged to hold a large-scale annual military exercise.
In another part of their joint statement, the heads of the tripartite Camp David summit emphasized their commitment to the complete denuclearization of North Korea and also called for a constructive dialogue with North Korea!
The statement said: We declare the commitment of our governments to consult quickly with each other to coordinate our responses to regional challenges, provocations, and threats that affect our collective interests and security. Through these consultations, we plan to share information and coordinate our messaging and response actions.
The three countries, which held a meeting on Friday, also expressed readiness to “resume dialogue” with North Korea “without preconditions”!
