The American fleet, which is based in Bahrain, announced the deployment of two amphibious assault ships in the Red Sea. This action is aggravating and has been announced a day after the announcement of the US Ministry of Defense about the deployment of more than three thousand soldiers and sailors in the Middle East. The Americans later announced that their destination was the Bab al-Mandab strait in the Red Sea.
The Minister of Defense of Yemen stated that Western countries do not have the right to interfere in the sovereignty of Yemen or to impose their influence in the regional waters with any justification. And the freedom and independence of nations is the only way to support international interests.
In the end, he emphasized: Yemen’s revolutionary leaders did their best to make the UN peace process successful, but military operations must be stopped, the siege must be lifted, and the occupiers must be expelled. We have taken away any excuse from them (Westerners) and we will respond to any breach of covenant.
