Putin: Russian authorities should use domestically produced cars.
According to Tass, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a meeting with senior executive managers of the country’s industrial production, asked Russian government officials to use Russian-made vehicles for transportation.
In this meeting, Putin emphasized: Ministers, organizations and offices of the presidential staff have asked to continue the purchase of foreign-made cars and to continue this procedure.
He added: However, in response, I said that such a thing is completely unacceptable and that all Russian officials should use domestically made cars.
According to the President of Russia, “These cars, in some ways, are perhaps simpler than the cars we used in the past. It is not an important issue. Instead, it happens to be better. “Our officials are wonderful people and they must understand that we have to work hard to develop domestic car brands as well as other domestically made products and goods.”
He also stated: This path should be the main path to improve living standards.
