The Iraqi website “Nas News” announced on Wednesday night that the British Foreign Ministry appointed Stephen Hatchin, director of the Counter-Terrorism Department, as the new British ambassador to Iraq.
According to this Iraqi media, the British Embassy in Iraq published a video of the new ambassador in which he said that he is happy to be appointed as the new British ambassador in Iraq.

Before this, Stephen Hickey was the British ambassador to Iraq.
