The survey showed that most Europeans want to maintain relations with Russia.
The opinion poll of the European Council on Foreign Relations of 11 countries showed that a large part of their people wants to maintain relations with Russia or cooperate fully with it.
Despite propaganda by Western governments against Russia, a new poll found that most Europeans want to maintain ties with Russia, with some favoring the restoration of full cooperation after the end of the Ukraine war.
This survey was conducted by the European Foreign Relations Council in April this year in 11 European countries, including Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Sweden, with a population of 16,168.
According to “Sputnik” news agency, in this research, the respondents were asked to imagine that the conflict in Ukraine will end through negotiations, and they were given different options on how to develop their countries’ relations with Russia.
Based on this, 21% of respondents said that relations with Russia should be fully based on cooperation, and 48% were in favor of limited relations with Moscow.
Only 18% of the respondents believed that their country should cut all ties with Russia, and 13% could not answer this question.
According to this report, Bulgaria and Hungary are among the countries that are mostly in favor of full cooperation with Russia, and the people of Poland are more in favor of the complete termination of relations.
