According to Sputnik, Noam Chomsky, a prominent American philosopher and thinker, believes that China’s entry into the Middle East arms market shows that the system that ruled this region, which was dominated by Washington for 80 years, is now worn out and destroyed.
In response to the question of whether China will become the world leader or not, Chomsky said: China is already the world leader.
He explained that programs based on the Shanghai Cooperation Organization have expanded dramatically throughout Eurasia and beyond.
Chomsky emphasized: In the last few months, Saudi Arabia joined the Shanghai Cooperation Organization after the second most influential country in the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates; An organization that has previously become the center of the “China Maritime Silk Road” that stretches from Calcutta in eastern India to the Red Sea and then to Europe.
Referring to China’s entry into the Middle East arms market, he stated: All this indicates the significant wear and tear of the system ruling the Middle East. The system that America inherited from England and has dominated it for almost 80 years.
