Henry Kissinger, a prominent strategist and former US Secretary of State, warned in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that the current trend of increasing tensions between the US and China will lead to an inevitable military conflict.

The question is whether we can resolve this issue based on the principle of freedom of navigation or whether these tensions will lead to an inevitable military conflict.
The prominent American strategist also warned that “given the existing weapons, a military conflict between the United States and China would result in the ‘destruction of human civilization’.”
Earlier, in an exclusive interview with CNN, Kissinger warned that the increase in tensions between the United States and China will lead to a military confrontation, the result of which will be the destruction of the world. Referring to the speed of China’s progress and development, he said: China progressed much faster than everyone thought, and perhaps this issue should have been thought of before, because now China is the second most powerful country in the world.
