Erdoğan: The people of Turkey will answer Biden at the ballot box.
According to TART, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his last election speech to his supporters, accused his rival of collaborating with the US and announced that US President Joe Biden is seeking to overthrow his government.
Addressing Kılıçdaroğlu, he said: Do you want to proceed with your work based on the instructions you received from America? With the orders you received from Biden? Biden announced that Erdoğan should be overthrown and I know this, all the people know this, but they will give them a proper answer at the ballot box.
In this election, 60,904,000 people inside Turkey and 3,286,000 people abroad are eligible to vote.
In the 100-year history of the Republic of Turkey, the participation rate dropped from 70% to 64% only twice.
According to the election laws in Turkey, each citizen can only vote in one pre-determined place and also the government has the right to collect fines from the citizens who do not vote, but this law has not been implemented in practice and no one has been fined for not voting.
