Hamas welcomes Syria’s return to the Arab League, the unity against Tel Aviv.
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) welcomed the return of Syria to the Arab League on Monday morning.
Shahab Palestine website reported on Monday morning that Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said: “We welcome the position of the foreign ministers of the Arab countries on the return of Syria to its seat in the Arab League.”
Expressing hope for the quick resolution of the Syrian crisis and its consequences, the Hamas spokesman called for strengthening mutual relations between all the elements of the Islamic Ummah to strengthen its position against foreign colonial ambitions, the most important of which is the expansionist project of the Zionist regime.
The member states of the Arab League on Sunday announced their agreement with the plan to return Syria to the League.
At the end of its meeting in Cairo, the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Arab League member states officially announced the resumption of the participation of the Syrian government in the meetings of this league.
In November 2011, the Arab League suspended the membership of Damascus and imposed political and economic sanctions against it.
