Bloomberg: America and Europe ban all exports to Russia.
America and its western allies are trying to increase economic pressure on Russia by banning exports to this country.
Bloomberg, the United States and its European allies are considering banning the export of almost all goods to Russia.
The Bloomberg news agency, citing informed sources, announced that some of Ukraine’s key allies, including the United States, along with Europe, are considering an absolute ban on exports to Russia, an issue that seriously increases economic pressure on Russia due to the war in Ukraine.
G7 officials are discussing the issue ahead of the G7 summit in Japan in May, sources familiar with the matter said. The goal of the Western leaders is that all EU member states join in this anti-Russian action. This proposal is still under discussion and may be subject to change.
According to Bloomberg, this idea of an approach, which is being discussed by Western diplomatic representatives, could change the course of existing sanctions against Russia and include all exports to this country, unless an exemption is applied in certain cases. According to the current criteria, the export of all goods to Russia is allowed unless it is on the embargo list.
According to informed resources, if the leaders of the Group of Seven agree to this decision, medicine and agricultural products, including food, will probably be exempted from this ban.
It should be noted that the Russian army started its “special military operation” in eastern Ukraine last February 24.
In order to counter the advance of the Russian army in Ukraine, the United States and the Western countries have imposed many sanctions against Russia, while sending all kinds of advanced weapons to the Ukrainian army.
