In continuation of the aggression of the Zionist regime, this time the Zionists targeted targets in the Syrian province of Homs. In this connection, the Syrian state news agency known as SANA quoted a military source as saying: “At around 35:35 local time on Sunday morning, the Israeli enemy attacked An airstrike from the northeast of Beirut hit some areas in the city of Homs and its suburbs, which the Syrian Army’s air defense countered and shot down a number of hostile targets.
This military source, whose name has not been mentioned, added: “In this attack, five soldiers were injured and there were damages.”
In less than a week, the Zionist regime also attacked targets in the suburbs of Damascus and before that the Aleppo airport with its missiles and fighters, although the Syrian air defense managed to repulse most of these attacks.
The continuation of the aggressive attacks of the Zionist regime against Syria takes place in a situation where, despite the numerous complaints of the Syrian government in the United Nations, the Security Council and other responsible institutions in the United Nations have not yet taken any action to stop the aggression of the Zionist regime in Syria.
Two days ago, the Syrian Foreign Ministry, while condemning the recent airstrikes of the Zionist regime on Damascus, emphasized that the repeated attacks of the Zionist regime on Syria show the complete coordination of the Israeli occupying regime with terrorist groups, whose aim is to prolong the crisis in Syria.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry also added: Syria is ready to face any kind of challenge and fascist attacks so that the Syrian people achieve victory and impose their sovereignty over all lands and airspace.
