The Russian president said that the country’s army has not used advanced weapons such as hypersonic missiles.

“We need to do a lot to develop ground forces, but at that time and in 2014 there were no hypersonic weapons, although there are now,” Putin said. “Yes, we don’t actually use them, there are other advanced systems.”

This multipurpose supersonic missile is designed to attack sea and land targets and can target targets at a distance of more than 625 miles.
