Lapid: Israel will be divided from within in a few months.
The former prime minister of the Zionist regime and one of the leaders of the opposition parties in the occupied territories, referring to the demonstrations of tens of thousands of people in occupied Palestine, warned that Israel will be divided in a few months.
Yair Lapid, one of the leaders of the opposition parties in the occupied territories and the former prime minister of the Zionist regime, warned today (Wednesday) in the Knesset (Parliament of the Zionist regime) about the disintegration of this regime.
According to a report this evening (Wednesday) by “Al-Mayadin” channel, citing Zionist media, Lapid stated in the Knesset: “From now until six months from now, Israel will be divided from within, and its society will hate each other.”
According to this report, Lapid addressed these words to “Yariv Levin”, the Minister of Justice of the Zionist regime, and told him: “You are responsible for the things that are going on now. Don’t make us fools by talking about dialogue [on judicial reform] when you pass this law yourself. Enough lies!”
Occupied territories have seen demonstrations of tens of thousands of people in Tel Aviv, occupied Jerusalem, and Haifa for the past seven weeks, which are still ongoing. These massive demonstrations and internal disputes began after the Tel Aviv cabinet headed by Benjamin Netanyahu presented a plan to “reform the judicial system” of this regime on the fourth of last month. Netanyahu, who has been on trial for years on charges of corruption, bribery, and betrayal of trust, plans to escape from the trial with what he calls “judicial military reform”.
In the plan that Netanyahu’s cabinet seeks to implement, the powers of the judicial system of this regime will be reduced and the power and position of the executive and legislative branches in this regime will be strengthened. In this plan, by weakening the judicial system of the Zionist regime, the cabinet and political parties of this regime will have the possibility to control the selection committee of judges in the courts of the Zionist regime by appointing party members and politicians and preventing judges from being members of this committee.
On the other hand, the powers of the judicial advisor of the cabinet of the Zionist regime will be taken away, as well as the powers of the judicial advisors of other ministries of this regime, and the minister will have the possibility to remove or appoint any judicial advisor he wants to his office.
