The Palestinian Authority’s State Department stressed that the Zionists are still pursuing colonial settlement plans and that this is currently happening in western Bethlehem.
The State Department of the Palestinian Authority issued a statement Friday evening condemning the destruction of homes by Palestinian Zionist militants.
The ministry called on the international community to stop these crimes, citing the destruction that has taken place in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, especially in and around Jerusalem and the “C” areas.
“There are many reports of these crimes, the latest of which is a report released by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA),” the State Department said in a statement.
The report states that the Zionists have demolished, occupied, or occupied 26 buildings in the West Bank in the past two weeks, displacing 34 civilians, including 15 children.
Ramallah stated that the Zionists are still carrying out colonial plans in the field of settlement and that this issue is currently being done in the west of “Bethlehem”.
The State Department of the Palestinian Authority stated that the Zionists are continuing to destroy Palestinian homes and institutions in areas C in order to evacuate the Palestinian people.
According to the statement, the Zionists are trying to replace the Zionist settlers with the Palestinian people in the region, and Tel Aviv is primarily responsible for the crime of home demolition.
The ministry concluded that the United Nations, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council, and the International Criminal Court have a legal and moral responsibility to stop these crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
The West Bank covers an area of 5,655 square kilometers, which is equal to 21 percent of the historical area of Palestine, and the area called “c” is equal to 3450 square kilometers, which is 61 percent of the area of the West Bank and is now under Israeli control.
