Islamabad : PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry was released from Adiala Jail after his bail was granted in the case of threatening the Election Commission.
Fawad Chaudhry’s bail application was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Faizan Haider Gilani, Fawad Chaudhry’s lawyer Babar Awan appeared before the court.
Senior counsel, former Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan and the investigating officer appeared before the court along with records. The court ordered the release of Fawad Chaudhry by granting bail in exchange of 20 thousand rupees.
Judge Faizan Gilani remarked that he was giving bail on the condition that Fawad Chaudhry would not repeat the conversation. During the hearing, the Election Commission and the prosecution had opposed Fawad Chaudhry’s bail and pleaded for rejection of bail.
After Fawad Chaudhry’s bail was approved, Faisal Chaudhry instructed the workers in Islamabad court that we will now leave for Adiala.
