Lahore: Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif’s spokesperson Muhammad Zubair confirmed the resignation of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi from the post of Senior Vice President.
Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif’s spokesman Muhammad Zubair said in a media interview that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi (N) is a senior leader and worker of the League. I think leaving the post of Senior Vice President will not affect the stature of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. He is a great leader. He has been the Prime Minister and the party needs him.
He further said that Miftah Ismail is in the party and Ishaq Dar is in a big position. He does not want to discuss the filth of the party in public. The prices of petroleum products are linked to the global market and keep moving up and down. Whether to buy oil from Russia in dollars or in Chinese currency is still under discussion.
