Damascus demands Security Council to break its silence against Israeli aggression.

Sabbagh added: On the second day of this month, Israel launched a new aggression against the Syrian territory with a missile attack on Damascus International Airport, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of several people and material damage, and the airport was closed for some services. He clarified: Syria sent a letter to the Security Council on the second day of this month (January) and pointed out the continuation of the Zionist regime’s attacks on its territory, including vital civilian facilities, the latest of which is the encroachment on Damascus International Airport and the previous attacks on There were international airports in Damascus and Aleppo and the port of Latakia.
According to the Syrian state news agency “SANA”, the permanent representative of Syria to the United Nations emphasized: The occupying regime in the Syrian Golan has continued its aggressive policies against our people there for more than five decades, and it is the worst kind of violation of international laws and international humanitarian rights such as arrests, killings and displacements.
