According to al-Mayadin, a mural was installed in one of the streets of Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, in honor of the martyr Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, in which a picture of the martyr Soleimani was displayed next to the late president of Venezuela Hugo Chavez and the flags of Iran and Venezuela.
According to this report, Iran’s ambassador in Caracas, Hojjat Soltani, emphasized the importance of consolidating the revolutionary process and the independence of both Iran and Venezuela in front of the world at the installation ceremony of a mural designed and executed by Venezuelan artist Nelson Santana. He said: “Venezuela is the land of heroes, the land of the freedom-loving Simon Bolivar and the land of the eternal leader of this country, Hugo Rafael Chavez.”
The Iranian ambassador in Caracas also stated: Iran emphasizes the solidarity and mutual support between Iran and Venezuela and considers it a win-win for both countries.
On the other hand, “Pedro Infante”, a representative of the Venezuelan parliament and the head of the parliamentary friendship group of this country and Iran, announced his solidarity with the Iranian people in the fight against the common enemy, which is American imperialism, and emphasized: the drones that were used to assassinate General Soleimani were the same It is the drones with which they intended to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro.
