In recent years, during the prime ministership of Benjamin Netanyahu, the secret relations between some Arab governments and the Zionist regime reached a public level. This event took place under the title of Abraham Accords with the support of the then US President Donald Trump. On August 13, 2020, the United Arab Emirates and the Zionist regime announced by issuing an official statement that they had reached an agreement to normalize relations. After that, on September 11, 2020, a similar agreement was signed between Manama and Tel Aviv, and then on December 10, 2020, the Moroccan government announced the signing of an agreement to normalize relations with the Zionist regime.

Even though the Abraham Accords in 2020 were considered an important event to the extent that it made some Arab dependent regimes seriously think about joining the train of normalizing relations, but gradually with the developments that took place in the region and the world, it witnessed a gradual decline. It was two years after signing these agreements.
Apart from the serious and solid opposition of the people of the Arab world to the normalization of relations with the Zionist occupiers, which has made the Abraham Accords something like building a house on water, Netanyahu’s defeat in the elections and the victory of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid’s coalition in the political scene of the Zionist regime were among the factors. which made Netanyahu unable to continue pursuing his favorite project.
